Orthoceras, ancestor of our modern-day squid, was a mollusk that lived more than 400 million years ago. The name means straight horn, referring to its long, straight, and conical shell.
The beads are expertly handcrafted by Hills Tribes of the remote mountain area known as “Golden Triangle” (Thailand, Laos, and Burma). Skilled in metal smithing, respected for their expert craftsmanship with various metals. The unique beads - tubes, and flat round - are created by Hills Tribes completely by hand, exhibiting various smooth, textured, or hammered finishes. They are highlighted with silver plated ammonite beads and black onyx beads. The chain in silver filled.
